10. Cultural Data is Public.
CultureCache is a platform for public data sharing, so any information you add to our platform, including but not limited to stories, songs, videos, 3D scans, event details, artifact descriptions, oral histories, site assessments, and cultural event plans, is public. This includes all data uploaded for cultural preservation and documentation. You acknowledge and accept that your submitted data will be openly shared. You understand that Google Gemini 2.0 is used to process data inputs and outputs. You acknowledge that by using this site, that your data is being sent to Google's Gemini 2.0 AI. You agree not to submit any data that is illegal, infringing on intellectual property rights, or harmful. This includes, but is not limited to, data that is defamatory, obscene, or violates privacy rights. You understand that this platform is for public data sharing, and that there is no expectation of privacy for submitted information. You agree to not attempt to reverse engineer or otherwise interfere with the proper functioning of the site.
Decentralized Storage: User data, including cultural information such as stories, songs, videos, 3D scans, event details, artifact descriptions, oral histories, site assessments, and cultural event plans, will be shared to both our central server and decentralized storage using IPFS (InterPlanetary File System). This hybrid approach allows us to provide powerful tools for fast data analysis via our central server, while utilizing IPFS for long-term storage, archiving, and enhanced resistance.
11. Security
We make reasonable efforts to protect your information by using physical and electronic safeguards designed to improve the security of the information we maintain. However, as our Services are hosted electronically, we can make no guarantees as to the security or privacy of your information.
12. Children’s Personal Information
CultureCache Services are not directed to children under 13 (or other age as required by local law outside of Denmark). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
